Obituary: Jessa Rene Mountford

Jessa Rene Mountford, former longtime Glendale resident, died June 26. She was 72.

Born March 12, 1939, in Ashland, Oregon, Mountford graduated from Glendale High School in 1957 and married her high school sweetheart, William Mountford, soon after. She was a member of Christian Life Church, La Crescenta for 40 years.

They retired to Santa Maria.

Jessa Rene Mountford is survived by her husband of 53 years, William; son Jeff; daughters Sheri Hancock and Jenny Curry; and nine grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Pam.

Services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday at Pacific Christian Center in Santa Maria.
