Man arrested for allegedly stealing cigarettes, Red Bull

A 27-year-old Glendale man was arrested Friday on suspicion of stealing cigarettes, lighters and cans of Red Bull from a gas station, police said.

Edgar Sanchez allegedly entered the Chevron about 12:32 a.m., walked behind the cash register counter and grabbed six lighters and four packs of cigarettes, according to Glendale Police Department reports.

As Sanchez exited the store on the 1600 block of Victory Boulevard, he allegedly grabbed four Red Bulls and fled through an alley.

Shortly after the alleged theft, police spotted Sanchez in the alley and arrested him.
