Purse snatcher rode a large-frame bicycle

A man riding a bicycle snatched a 61-year-old Glendale woman’s purse Saturday, stealing her cash and identification, police said.

The woman was walking on Windsor Road near South Central Avenue at about 7 p.m. when a man on a bicycle suddenly snatched her purse and rode away, Glendale Police Sgt. Tom Lorenz said.

The man was described as black, medium build and short hair, Lorenz said. He wore shorts and rode a large-frame bicycle.
