Hydraulic fluid spill ties up traffic around Glendale City Hall

Morning commuter traffic around Glendale City Hall is a mess this morning as crews work to clean up hydraulic fluid the spilled from a private trash truck, police officials said.

Traffic is backed up on Glendale and Wilson avenues and on Broadway as crews from the Fire, Police and Public Works departments work to sop up the fluid and redirect traffic. It was not immediately known how much of the fluid was spilled, or how long the clean up would last.
