Bruce McGrath Odell

A Los Angeles native, died peacefully on August 27. He was born in Hollywood, graduated from Loyola University, and owned his own commercial real estate firm. Bruce is survived by Mary Ann, his wife of 53 years; three children, (Kathleen, Michael, and John); his siblings (Robert, Mary Ann, Patricia, and Virginia); and eight grandchildren. Every life Bruce touched was made better because of his kind heart, sense of humor, and generous spirit. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Los Angeles Music and Art School founded in 1945 by Bruce’s aunt, Pearl Odell (3630 E. Third Street, Los Angeles, California, 90063 - https://lamusart.org). There will be a rosary service at 9:30 a.m. and a funeral mass at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 9, at St. Bede the Venerable Catholic Church in La Canada-Flintridge. Cabot & Sons Mortuary.
