Update on Virginia Lance

Share

Mary Spriestersbach sends us this followup about her mom, who was burned out of her house last week:

Virginia Lance (2919 N. Lake Ave., Altadena) who lost her home on Aug. 28 is doing well and living with her daughter, Mary Spriestersbach, up the street in Altadena. The family has been very fortunate that the Insurance company is handling a place for her to live as well as staging the house. Although we certainly want to thank people for offerings of furniture and clothes, at this time we will not need them. The support from all of you was wonderful. The place we have found is close to my brother and I here in Altadena. That was primary. The home is gutted but Mom got out, thanks to her caregiver, and that was the most important item in the house !!!! Neither of them suffered any injuries ~ another miracle ! We owe a big thank you to C.Jake for sending out the S.O.S. so quickly and helping in every way including taking Mom’s dogs.

Also: BIG thank you to Paramedics who were there Friday night for her broken arm, and Sunday night after fire. Altadena Fire Station #11 is the best and we thank you for your quick response.
