New heat wave heightens fire danger in L.A. County

Hot weather has returned to Southern California this week, with forecasters predicting 100-degree temperatures in inland valley areas.

The National Weather Service issued a warning for hot conditions and heightened fire danger. Several fires have broken out in the region in the last few days, including one in Mandeville Canyon and another near Aqua Dolce on Monday.  L.A. NOW
