Glendale motorcycle officer struck by car, taken to hospital

A Glendale police motorcycle officer was taken to Huntington Memorial Hospital this morning after a motorist pulling out of a driveway struck him, officials said.

Officer Matt Bolton’s condition and the extent of his injuries were not immediately known, Police Sgt. Tom Lorenz said.

The crash occurred in the 400 block of West Lexington Drive, he said.
