Dorothy J. Brinker has died after a brief illness. She was born June 16, 1923 in Detroit, Michigan, and moved to California in 1946. Dorothy was a bookkeeper in the garment industry of Los Angeles for more than 20 years working for such manufacturers as Rose Marie Reed and Catalina Knitwear.
She is predeceased by her parents, Leo and Clara Brinker as well as by her two older sisters, Angeline Blunt and Ruth Parks. Miss Brinker is survived by her cousin, Marjorie Milum of Glendale, CA, and by numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
A devoted Catholic, she was a member of St. Charles Borromeo parish. She was a resident of Providence St. Elizabeth Care Center in North Hollywood from February, 2002 until the time of her death.
