Airport taxi drivers are too hostile

I absolutely agree with your view regarding taxi service at our airport (“Council should countermand taxi decision,” Sept. 18). The drivers are disrespectful and angry all the time!

My husband and I also played the same guessing game upon getting into a taxi at the airport. After having our luggage literally thrown on the sidewalk, I called officials.

I explained that I understood the driver’s concern (“Airport taxi minimum fare is raised,” Sept. 18) and recommended having two taxi lines. The drivers could alternate from long to short trips so each driver gets a fair share.

I firmly believe raising fares will not solve hostile taxi service to Burbank residents!
