Loves the float, grateful to volunteers

No one loves elephants more than I do. Why do so many people criticize this float (“Changes to Rose float are needed,” Sept. 15)?

We have had so many beautiful floats in the past, mostly for adults, this one will please so many dear children.

Be thankful for so many dear people, working on the floats, free of charge.
