Small wildfire near La Tuna Canyon on Sunday confined to a few acres

Firefighters put out a brush fire Sunday afternoon on the eastbound Foothill (210) Freeway near La Tuna Canyon Road, officials said.

Five Glendale fire companies and a water tender provided back up about noon for the Los Angeles Fire Department as they battled the flames, which was contained to a few acres, fire officials said.

No one was injured in the blaze and no property damage was reported.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
