Big-rig crash snarls traffic on the westbound 210 Freeway

A big-rig that jackknifed on the westbound Foothill (210) Freeway has snarled traffic as crews work to tow it out.

A Sigalert has been issued for the highway just before Lowell Avenue in La Crescenta with one lane still blocked, according to the California Highway Patrol. The cause of the crash, which reportedly involved several other vehicles, was not immediately known.
