Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
John Krikorian, the Krikorian family and the Business Life organization wish to extend our deep and heartfelt thank you to friends, business associates, and well wishers. Your cards, flowers and prayers touched our hearts beyond words and are truly strengthening Dad’s recovery.
We would also like to thank the Glendale Fire Department and the Rotary Club of Glendale for honoring our father for his service to our community and country by presenting him with their annual “Service Above Self Award.” As one of eight children, I was so proud of Dad and grateful for the recognition he received.
Before Dad collapsed on stage, the ceremony was wonderful. Dad spoke about his father’s community service during World War II and reflected on his own service in the Korean War. In an instant, however, our celebration ended.
While snapping a photo of Dad, my pride switched to panic and fear, and I would truly like to thank Fire Chief Harold Scoggins for helping me gain the strength I needed to get through the shock and chaos of seeing my father collapse on stage.
As all those who attended the ceremony can attest, the Fire Department’s immediate and professional response was remarkable. Their training, expertise and determined reaction to Dad’s emergency is a testament to their quality of service, and demonstrates how blessed our community is to have their protection.
They saved Dad’s life, and we are immeasurably grateful.
We also want to extend appreciation to the Hilton Glendale and the Glendale Adventist Medical Center for their dedication and commitment. And to the Glendale News-Press and other local media: Thank you for your support. We have heard from friends all over the country who were informed by your coverage and updates.
My dad’s condition is improving. However, we know that the days and months ahead will be challenging for him. We truly appreciate your continued prayers and are hopeful for Dad’s complete recovery.
