Man confesses to assaulting girl, 6

Pasadena police arrested a man Wednesday morning for sexually assaulting a 6-year-old girl.

Edward Joseph Labrier, 58, was arrested after the girl reported to her mother Tuesday night that she felt pain and discomfort after Labrier committed the act on Oct. 29.

Police picked up Labrier at his home on the 3000 block of Estado Street and took him to the station, where he confessed, according to Pasadena police.
