Sarah Gianos was one of the best

I wanted to express my deep sadness to Glendale’s great loss of the wonderful longtime music teacher Sarah Gianos (“Longtime Wilson Middle School teacher dies,” Nov. 21). My daughter Tessa was a student of hers.

Gianos was one of those teachers who you are glad crossed your child’s path. She was very dedicated, inspiring, a bundle of energy, and she was very committed to her students.

She encouraged creativity, strong teamwork and demanded excellence. That speaks to all the awards she and her students won in more competitions than I can count here.

Sarah Gianos: Thank you for the special experience you have given to our children — there are so many students and parents in this town who love you and will not forget you.

May you rest in peace. God bless your soul.
