Four residents burned in Pasadena fire

Four people were left with serious burn injuries after a fire broke out in the 100 block of Penn Street in northwest Pasadena early Thursday morning, officials said.

The victims, one who was critically injured, were transported to a local hospital, said Pasadena Fire Department spokeswoman Lisa Derderian. The incident occurred around 2:00 a.m.

Their identities were not released. Officials do not know what caused the fire. No other information was immediately available.
