Armed robbery at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse in Pasadena

Armed thieves made off with $1,900 in cash and other items in an early morning robbery at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse in Pasadena.

The restaurant on the 300 block of East Colorado Boulevard was closed when at about 12:45 a.m. the manager heard a knock at the door, according to Pasadena police. When she opened the door, two Hispanic males pointed guns at her and rushed in. They demanded she opened the safe, and she complied. The men took $1,900 in cash as well as the manager’s cell phone and jewelry.

Police are continuing to look for the suspects.
