Apparent suicide victim is found

A man was found dead Thursday from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot inside an apartment on the 400 block of Piedmont Avenue, police said.

Glendale police detectives have been called to the scene to investigate the shooting, which was reported at 2:11 p.m., Sgt. Tom Lorenz said.

Police do no suspect foul play, he added.
