Winds blow canopy into power pole in North Glendale, causing small outage
Glendale crews are working to restore power to a small area in North Glendale after a residential canopy wrapped itself around power lines.
High winds blew the canopy into the power pole near Pennsylvania Avenue and Park Vista Drive today, causing a minor power outage, city spokesman Tom Lorenz said.
A high wind advisory remains in effect for the area until 3 p.m. Saturday.
