Five motorists were arrested Saturday during an anti-drunk driving task force in Glendale, police said.

Police stopped 138 vehicles during their specialized patrols and performed 12 field sobriety tests on drivers, according to Sgt. Michael Glassick. Two vehicles were impounded during the operation.

Five motorists were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol as part of the police taskforce, he added.

Another three people were arrested in connection with driving without a valid license, driving on a suspended or revoked license and an outstanding warrant, Glassick said.
