Micaela Vasquez

Micaela Vasquez, a long time resident of Burbank, CA passed away on Sunday, January 8th, 2012 at the age of 83. She was born in Lordsburg, New Mexico on September 29, 1928. She was the beloved wife of the late Ernesto Vasquez. Micaela was also preceded in death by her grandson Patrick Banda. Left to cherish her memory are her children Gloria (Jim) Banda of Colorado Springs, CO, Daniel (Yvonne) Vasquez of Valencia, CA, Rebecca (Alan) Morton of Fountain Hills, AZ and Lydia (Mike) Delaney of Burbank, CA. Micaela will also be remembered by her 7 grandchildren and 7 great grand children who all love her very much.

Micaela was a member of the Patricians of North Hollywood and enjoyed serving her church and those around her. Micaela was passionate about her grandchildren and was always their number one fan. She found joy in attending their school events, plays, games and graduations. Micaela also found joy in traveling. Whether it was Israel, Egypt, Italy, the Panama Canal, a cruise, or a bus trip to Laughlin, she always had her bag packed.

Micaela will be deeply missed by friends and family. She will live on in our hearts forever and joins our other angels in heaven to watch over us. A service celebrating Micaela Vasquez’s life will be held on Saturday, January 14th at 11:30 am at Saint Patrick Catholic Church
