Leonora D. Sepielli
Born November 27th, 1923 passed away on January 13th, 2012. Leonora (Lee) was a longtime resident of Glendale, California and Hollywood. Lee was the first licensed woman paving contractor in the State of California. Associated with Accurate Asphalt paving, Universal Paving, and Vice President of California Paving/Goode and Schroeder Paving Company from 1977 to her death. She was a true legend among the leaders of the asphalt paving industry in Southern California. In world of a man dominated industry, she was a true leader. Her collection methods are legendary.
Lee was a generous woman, supporting Holy Family Church Choir in Glendale and St. Jude’s Hospital for Children. Services will be at Holy Family Church in Glendale, California on Friday, January 20th at 9 a.m.
