Pasadena police used a helicopter and police dogs to find three suspects in a residential burglary.

At around 1:40 p.m. Tuesday a resident of the 600 block of South Mentor Avenue notified police that three males went around to the rear of an adjacent residence after knocking on the front door, according to Pasadena police.

A police helicopter observed the men running through yards, and a police dog tracked the suspects to a trash room in a nearby building.

The suspects, all 16-year-old Hispanic males from Pasadena, were found in possession of an iPod and other items linked to a residential burglary on Oakdale Street.
