Dorothy D. Snodgress

Dorothy D. Snodgress passed away January 12, 2012 in Glendale after a short illness. Born January 16, 1923 to Emil and Leone Kiefer she was a life-long resident of Glendale. She worked for the Glendale Unified School District for fourteen years, was a past president of the PTSA at Glendale High School, and also served several terms as president of PEO Chapter L.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-nine years Richard, sons James (Carol) of Redlands and Steven (Elaine) of Glendale, daughter Jean LeGassick of Silver City, Nevada, grandchildren Sarah Eppehimer (Ryan), Michael, and Andrew, a sister Mildred Chris Beaver (Don), four nieces and two nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Richard.

A memorial service will be held Saturday February 4 at 11:00 am at the First United Methodist Church 134 N. Kenwood St. in Glendale.
