Burbank police probe death of baby at daycare center
Burbank police Wednesday night were investigating the death of an 11-month-old infant who died after suffering breathing problems at a day-care center.
Police and firefighters responded to the licensed day-care facility Wednesday afternoon in the 200 block of West Santa Anita Avenue and found the baby in breathing distress, the Burbank Police Department said.
The baby was taken to St. Joseph Medical Center and pronounced dead.
Sgt. Jerry Misquez told The Times there did not appear to be evidence of foul play.
