Police: man exposed himself to woman while asking for directions
Glendale police are looking for a man who allegedly asked a woman for directions while he was masturbating.
The woman was sitting inside her Mercedes about 8:50 p.m. Sunday on Dryden Street, near Columbus Avenue, when she saw a man pacing around the area, according to Glendale police reports.
When she rolled down her window and asked the man if he needed help, he told her he was looking for Olympic Street in Los Angeles.
When she told him he was nowhere near Olympic, he approached her Mercedes while holding his left hand under his jacket, according to police.
He then lifted his jacket to show her he was masturbating, the woman told police. She quickly rolled up her window and the man fled the scene.
He was described as Latino, about 5 foot 6 inches tall with a medium build, short hair, a mustache and hair on his chin.
He was wearing prescription glasses, blue jeans and a large white jacket with red trim and writing across the chest, police said.
