Richard C. Snodgress

Richard C. Snodgress, long-time Glendale resident passed away January 27, 2012. Born July 21, 1917 in Iowa Falls, Iowa, Richard attended Glendale schools and graduated with a degree in economics from U.C. L.A. He worked for Bank of America for 43 years until his retirement in 1982 and also was on the Board of Directors of the Kasler Corporation. During World War II he served as a Navy communications officer.

Recently predeceased by his wife of 69 years, Dorothy, he is survived by sons James (Carol) of Redlands and Steven (Elaine) of Glendale, daughter Jean LeGassick of Silver City Nevada, grandchildren Sarah Eppehimer (Ryan), Michael, and Andrew, sister-in-law Mildred Chris Beaver (Don) four nieces and two nephews.

A memorial service will be held honoring him and his wife Dorothy on February 4 at 11:00 am at the First United Methodist Church 134 N. Kenwood Street in Glendale.
