Man exposes himself to teenage girl

A 15-year-old girl reported Wednesday that a man tried to get her attention as he masturbated on Kenwood Road, police said.

The girl had just left a friend’s house and was walking home about 9:38 p.m. on Kenwood Road, just south of Glenwood Road, when she heard a man making noises to get her attention, according to Glendale police reports.

As she passed the man, who was standing with his back against a fence, she noticed he was masturbating, prompting her to run home and call police.

He was described as a Latino, late 30s to early 40s and about 5 feet 6 inches tall. He had a mustache, a short, comb-over hairstyle and was wearing plastic-rimmed eyeglasses, white jacket and light blue jeans.

Police said the incident is not connected to other recent indecent exposure incidents throughout the city.
