Some TV, studio employees remain on lockdown

Employees at the Walt Disney Co. campus near where Glendale police have a neighborhood on lockdown may leave, but some may find that they can’t leave if their car is inside the search perimeter, Sgt. Tom Lorenz said.

ABC7 studios in West Glendale remains under a self-imposed lockdown out of fear that departing employees may be carjacked by the remaining at-large suspect, Lorenz added.

Glendale police have arrested three of four men who allegedly engaged officers in a short car chase earlier today.

They fled on foot when they hit a dead end on Circle Seven Drive. Three were arrested after K-9 units discovered them hiding inside a home garage on Cosmic Way. No one was home at the time, Lorenz said.

The manhunt for the fourth suspect remains ongoing. The perimeter border includes the ABC7 campus, the Golden State (5) Freeway, Circle Seven Drive and Sonora Avenue.
