Two men pleaded not guilty Tuesday to burglarizing a Glendale motorcycle shop and leading police on a pursuit in a stolen van, officials said.

Enrique Beltran, 37, of Hawthorne and Carlos Luna, 28, of Inglewood were scheduled to appear May 2 in Los Angeles County Superior Court in Burbank for early disposition. Beltran is being held in lieu of $140,000 bail, while Luna was held without bail due to outstanding drug warrants, officials said.

The pair allegedly stole about $20,000 worth of merchandise — including 50 items of motorcycle clothing — Saturday morning from Pro Italia, a motorcycle shop on the 3300 block of North Verdugo Road, according to police.

Police chased them on several freeways before eventually stopping them at the 105 Freeway and Hawthorne Boulevard.
