The wide, wonderful world of worms

Thank you for the great article about Chris Jung (“Meet the worm wrangler,” June 24). A couple of years ago I started reading about composting, and worm composting in particular. It’s a great way to let nature take its course, recycling organic matter that would have otherwise ended up in a landfill or in a garbage disposal.

After locating Chris online I was able to purchase the red wriggler worms and a compost “condo” for their new home. It’s been a lot of fun. My grandsons have been equally intrigued with it, although my husband still thinks it’s a little odd. After reading the article, I headed outside with some cantaloupe rind. Thanks for the tip, Chris.
