Missing San Marino man found in Santa Barbara County lake

The body of a missing San Marino man was found Wednesday in a Santa Barbara County lake, authorities said.

Kurt Brimberry had been missing since his car crashed into a tree near Solvang, a city in northern Santa Barbara County, on Aug. 18, according to the Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Department.

An employee at Alisal Guest Ranch discovered the body and contacted police, said Sgt. Mark Williams. The cause of death has not been determined.
UPDATE: Brimberry was on vacation with family at the time of the accident, Williams said. There appeared to be no suspicious circumstances regarding Brimberry’s death, he added.
