Firefighters quickly douse small fire at Scholl Canyon Landfill

Firefighters doused a quarter-acre fire Sunday at Scholl Canyon Park, officials said.

Witnesses reported seeing the fire about 12:36 p.m. on a hillside at the park in the 2800 block of East Glenoaks Boulevard, Glendale police officials said.

No one was injured and no structures were damaged during the fire, officials said.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
