Woman in Glendale robbed of purse at knifepoint

A woman was robbed of her purse at knifepoint Tuesday in South Glendale, police said.

A knife-wielding man who was described as Latino and in his 20s reportedly ran up to the woman about 3:50 p.m. in the 700 block of East Lomita Avenue and snatched her purse, Glendale Police Sgt. Tom Lorenz said.

He fled in a silver vehicle, which was occupied by three other men, Lorenz added.

The woman was not injured during the robbery.
