Driver exposes himself to pedestrian on Brand Boulevard in Glendale

A woman saw more than she expected Monday after returning a smile to a motorist, police said.

The motorist was allegedly masturbating as he looked at the woman who was standing about 1:40 p.m. at the crosswalk at Brand Boulevard and Dryden Street, according to Glendale police.

The woman told police she was walking when she first noticed the motorist in his red Volkswagen Golf driving up and down Brand Boulevard before making two U-turns and then pulling up next to her.

He smiled at her, and she smiled back. But then she peered inside his car window and noticed him engaged in the sexual act, police said.

She quickly looked away and he drove off.

The woman described the man as Middle Eastern, 22 to 28 years old, with a medium build and dark facial hair. He was wearing dark-colored T-shirt and blue boxers.
