A 30-year-old La Crescenta man was arrested Saturday after he allegedly exposed his genitals when he was asked to leave an ice cream shop, police said.

Zandro Zapata told officers he was reportedly trying to “advertise” for Cold Stone Creamery located in the 3200 block of Foothill Boulevard, when he was asked to leave, according to Glendale police.

The 27-year-old boyfriend of a Cold Stone employee heard the disturbance and followed Zapata as he exited the shop, police said.

Soon after, Zapata reportedly exposed himself twice to the employee’s boyfriend and yelled expletives, police said.

When Zapata was asked why he exposed his genitals and buttocks, he allegedly told police he “felt like it.”
