Northwest Glendale house fire damage estimated at $400,000
A blaze that destroyed a home in Northwest Glendale last week caused $400,000 in damages, officials said Monday.
Firefighters are still investigating the cause of the blaze, which broke out about 7:08 p.m. Thursday inside the basement of a two-story home in the 1500 block of Bel Aire Drive, according to Brandy Villanueva, Glendale Fire Department spokeswoman. No one was injured during the blaze.
Fire officials estimated that the fire caused $250,000 in damage to the home and destroyed $150,000 in contents.
