Glendale police to step up patrols for impaired drivers Saturday
Police plan to heavily patrol the city’s streets on Saturday night, looking for impaired drivers.
Officers will be on patrol from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. as part of a saturation operation, during which they will search for motorists who are driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Last Friday, six motorists were arrested for DUI at a checkpoint at Brand Boulevard and Vassar Street as part of a countywide crackdown on DUI driving, according to Glendale police.
