The co-owner of an Italian restaurant that’s been in Glendale for 30 years has taken a unique approach to gauging the interest of anyone interested in buying her share of the business. She’s placed an ad on Craigslist.

The listing, posted on Monday, advertises a “famous Italian restaurant” with a liquor license at a cost of $350,000.

A photo of the restaurant’s exterior, which was removed from the website on Wednesday, showed that it is Gennaro’s Ristorante, located at 1109 Brand Blvd., north of Glenoaks Avenue.

The listing says the 4,000-square-foot restaurant, which has been under the current ownership for two years, has been in business since 1983 and emphasizes the value of the restaurant’s full liquor license.

Co-owner Anastasia Sergeyeva said on Wednesday she had not yet cleared a sale with her business partner but was simply attempting to gauge any interest in buying her part of the restaurant.

Sergeyeva said she turned to Craigslist because she had previously found success in selling a “small fast-food restaurant” in Glendale on the website after real-estate-specific sites such as loopnet.com failed to provide results.

She said that as of Wednesday, she had not received any offers.

Sergeyeva said she was looking to sell her share of Gennaro’s because she wants to focus on her real estate business.

She is a Realtor with Pacific Inter Capital Investment Solutions in Tarzana, according to the company’s website.
