Glendale police investigate gunfire report

Police investigated a report of shots being fired in a west Glendale neighborhood this morning, but did not find anything to substantiate the claim.

Glendale police responded to a report of gunshots in the 900 block of West Glenoaks Boulevard at about 6 a.m. Friday, Sgt. Tom Lorenz said. Investigators did not any evidence of gunfire, he said, and cleared the call.
