Glendale firefighters on Thursday received a special honor from students at Holy Family High School for their dedication to the community.
Students and school staff recognized members of the Glendale Fire Department for their hard work and service during an appreciation ceremony at the college preparatory Catholic school.
Firefighters and personnel respond to more 16,000 incidents annually, including hazardous spills and fire and medical calls, according to department officials.
