Two commercial establishments in Glendale were broken into early Saturday morning with unknown amounts of cash stolen, a Glendale police officer said.
A restaurant in the 1000 block of North Brand Boulevard and a store that sells water in the 500 block of Glenoaks Boulevard were burglarized at 4:30 a.m. and 4:50 a.m., respectively, said Sgt. Carlos Alpuerto.
Police do not have information about suspects, and do not know how many individuals were involved, but Alpuerto said the two incidents may be linked because both storefronts had their front windows broken by a rock.
Police have yet to obtain video surveillance, if there is any, of the incidents, Alpuerto said.
