Firefighters have started collecting new and unwrapped toys for local children as part of their annual Spark of Love Toy Drive.

The Glendale Fire Department partners with ABC7 and Southern California firefighters during the campaign to collect toys for underserved children. The campaign collected nearly 500,000 toys last year.

Toys and sports equipment can be dropped off now until Dec. 24 at any of Glendale’s nine fire stations.

For more information about the toy drive, visit glendalefire.org or follow the Fire Department on Twitter @GlendaleCAFire.
