Crescenta Valley Briefs: Teen suicide prevention talk at CVHS, GPD to host ID theft prevention talk, Vietnam vets to be honored

A free discussion titled “Teen Suicide Prevention” will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. this Thursday in the library at Crescenta Valley High School, 2900 Community Ave., La Crescenta. Soldiers will be remembered for their past service during “Welcome Home, Vietnam Veterans Day” in front of Montrose’s Vietnam Memorial, one of the first in the country, at 8 a.m. on Saturday at the corner of Honolulu Avenue and Ocean View Boulevard. The third annual Run to Remember 5K cross-country run and walk benefiting local veterans’ programs will start at 8:15 a.m. on April 5 and take place at Crescenta Valley Park, 3901 Dunsmore Ave. Entry is $20 and includes a participant medal.
