News-Press pet of the day: Dakota
Dakota is a 5-year-old St. Bernard. She’s very friendly and calm, and enjoys going on walks in the park. Don’t let her size fool you; she’s a sweet gentle giant.
Dakota’s adoption fee is $125, which includes her spay surgery, a microchip, the first set of vaccinations, as well as a free follow-up health check at a participating vet. She also qualifies for our “Seniors for Seniors” program in which her adoption fee is waived for adopters 60 years old or older.
New adopters will receive a complimentary health-and-wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals, as well as a goody bag filled with information on how to care for your pet. Ask an adoptions counselor for more information during your visit.
Call the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA at (626) 792-7151 to ask about A353359 or visit at 361 S. Raymond Ave. in Pasadena. Adoption hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
Pets may not be available for adoption and cannot be held for potential adopters by phone calls or email. Directions and photos of all pets can be found at www.pasadenahumane.org.
