Valley View Elementary

The Valley View golf tournament will be held in two weeks. To register and pay for a round, visit vveagles.com and click on the link for the golf tournament.

Mountain View Elementary

A Halloween parade will be held at 8:30 a.m. Friday on the primary yard. Masks and weapons are not allowed.

New or gently used coats are still being accepted for the annual “Coats for Kids” drive. Coats may be placed in the collection box located in the cafetorium until Friday.

Nov. 7, 10, and 11 are school holidays. Nov. 14 is a minimum day and all students will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m. Also, a jog-a-thon sponsored by MACK will be held on Nov. 14 on the upper field.

Rosemont Middle School

Members of the Rosemont flag football team hope to get started next month, but they are in need of coaches for the upcoming season. Anyone wanting to be coach, should contact Roger Sondergaard, the after-school sports coordinator, at (626) 354-3518.

Crescenta Valley High School

The music department will host a Goodwill fundraiser from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 8 in the school’s music parking lot on Ramsdell Avenue.

Donations will help support the music program, and a receipt will be given so donors can write off the donation as a charitable contribution.
