Letter: Diagonal crosswalk is without purpose

Really! Do we really need a diagonal crosswalk at the intersection of Ocean View Boulevard and Honolulu Avenue? I walk Montrose regularly, and I don’t see why it would warrant this, let alone the traffic backup, which is ridiculous. The money could be better spent fixing the potholes in our beautiful city.
