Letter: The Armenian heart will beat again

The innocent blood of Armenians has been held hostage by the enemy over the past century. Turkey still insists on denying their hateful crimes against humanity: they forbade the world’s tongue to speak of us, Armenians. Truth will be spoken and the enemy will hear the words “Armenian Genocide.” Turkey, own up to your crimes, for the past will revisit you. The world shall fight for the truth and speak of 1915.

Nothing but justice in appeal of 1915. Nothing but justice to the Armenian Genocide victims. Nothing but justice in honor of our martyrs. One hundred years have passed in a blink of an eye; let us revive Armenia’s presence in history and today for she has been left dead for an entire generation.

Time. Where has time gone? Our martyrs’ sacred ashes have laid grave-less, unable to become one with the soil. Their memory is alive to serve human conscience for justice. They will rest in peace once justice is served. We will bring Mother Armenia to glory, as she once was, where any obstacles and lies will be bypassed. Our weeping will soon end and our martyrs will soon be honored properly, for the world is unaware that our nation’s heart will soon beat again.

Come and join us in vigilant silence, to hear Mother Armenia’s whisper, on our Centennial Commemoration of the Armenian Genocide, April 24, and to revere the sacred memory of our 1.5 million martyrs.
