Schiff’s statements are double-speak

Politics is humor, because where else can you double-speak and not expect everyone to laugh?

In regards to your article on Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Burbank) demanding the Supreme Court televise the healthcare hearings because his concern for openness in the process (“Schiff decries lack of Supreme Court TV broadcast,” www.glendalenews
press.com, March 26).

Funny, I didn’t hear Schiff say a thing about President Obama’s reneged campaign promise to televise hearings on C-SPAN so the public may be aware of critical legislation.

Further, Schiff voted for the rushed bill that was passed on the quiet of Christmas Eve, all under the cover of darkness. Does he think we are not watching?
